Successful Completion of Aerial Crossing Force Main (FM) Inspections in Collaboration with Engineering Consultants
The Russell Group is proud to announce the successful completion of three “Aerial Crossing” inspections of large diameter PCCP 301L Force Mains utilizing the advanced Bracelet Probe (BP) system, delivered in strategic collaboration with engineering consultants.
This project was focused on the comprehensive integrity
assessment of critical aerial pipeline crossings. By deploying the Force Main
BP method, the team achieved high-resolution inspection results, enabling
precise detection of wire breaks and cylinder corrosion — all without
disrupting live operations.
Advanced Technology, Reliable Results
The Bracelet Probe (BP) system provides a highly sensitive
and efficient solution for evaluating aerial assets, ensuring that even minor
anomalies are accurately identified. This non-intrusive, rope-access assisted inspection
approach minimizes operational impact while maximizing data quality and
reliability.
- Enhanced
integrity assessment of critical aerial pipeline assets using rope-access
technique
- High-sensitivity
detection of wire breaks and cylinder corrosion
- Efficient
field execution with zero operational disruption
- Actionable,
data-driven insights to support long-term asset management
Through the combined engineering expertise of the Russell
Group with its specialized NDT capabilities delivered alongside engineering
consultants, the project stands as a strong example of technical excellence,
collaborative delivery, and unwavering commitment to infrastructure safety.
Russell Group remains dedicated to providing innovative
inspection solutions that strengthen asset integrity and ensure operational
reliability for our clients.
