On behalf of RUSSELL TECHNOLOGIES INDIA PVT LTD (RTI), we would be delighted to extend warm thanks for getting a valuable chance of participation in the 1st UAE & Oman ANNDT Symposiums. The UAE and Oman Sections of ASNT, under the direction of Mr. Marwan Basrawi, did a phenomenal job hosting a localized one-day symposium entitled: Advanced Non-Conventional NDT Technologies (ANNDT). The symposiums were held in Crown Plaza, Yas Island on 25th March 2017 AND then in Hormuz Grand Hotel, Muscat on 27th March 2017. Delegates were introduced to five very advanced and proven non-destructive testing (NDT) technologies that have not been applied in the entire Gulf region though the need for them is there. This symposium brought together NDT service providers and end users to get them acquainted with advanced NDT technologies brought to the UAE by their developers themselves. RTI presented a technical paper on the subject DETECTION OF CORROSION UNDER INSULATION (CUI) using Advanced Pipe Inspection Technology featuring the theme of ADVANCED NON-CONVENTIONAL NONDESTRUCTIVE TESTING TECHNOLOGIES. The paper was attended & appreciated with high interest by professionals in the gulf region. The day ran smoothly, visitors stayed for extended periods of time and seemed to enjoy themselves. Your presence helped to make this event a great success and your enthusiasm helped make our time together both productive and fun. In this continuation, we highly appreciate the organiser of this event for providing a great opportunity to network with local ASNT members, Corporate Partners, NDT service providers and end users which made this event a worthy as well as memorable one.
